    @Massimiliano Mati:

    Have u change the theme, just for the number of upload images - or did u also change ir so it supports images bigger than 700px wide? (like Glenn Yong, i would be interested in knowing that) try to change it but it break the layout ; (

    Yin & Yang and Firefly are two different themes from the same author, I don't own Firefly so I cannot be sure the contents are the same.. If you can't upload Its probably due to upload-button.js. I can try to list here the lines I changed in my, see if you can do the same n your theme:

    in upload-button.js I added this code for each image (11 to 25)

    jQuery('#portfolio-image-11-uploader').click(function() { //change number of image to your needs
             tb_show('', 'media-upload.php?TB_iframe=true');
             //Change "Insert Into Post" to "Use This Image"
             tbframe_interval = setInterval(function() {jQuery('#TB_iframeContent').contents().find('.savesend .button').val('Use This Image');}, 2000);
             window.send_to_editor = function(html) {
                     // Clear interval for "Use this Image" so button text resets
                 url = jQuery(html).attr('href');
                 jQuery('#portfolio-image-11').val(url); //change number of image to your needs
            return false;

    you can easily track changes in other files, just look for my comments and any image var reference (usually $img)

    yeah.. mine is Yin&Yang's Firefly theme. =D

    hmmmm... but i am sure the themefunctions cant be the same ?
    The portfolio metaboxes sure work. but they cant upload. so likely i believe the themefunctions need to be changed in order for it to work like a charm. sigh

    eheh this ticket's category is "Yin & Yang Theme" Its very unlikely it would work for another theme...even if the files that needs to be changed are named the same, they probably will have different content. You may still want to look inside the files I posted as changes are commented, and try to find the corresponding lines in your version..

    Ahh... seems like its a different theme. Im using firefly. that is why it wouldn't work ?

    Hi, what do you mean "theme_functions file cannot work when applied directly into the files." ?

    have you tryied resetting file permissions on those new files ? Unfortunately I cannot track down all the changes I made so probably would be better if I can upload the whole theme folder. But again, Owner of the theme must agree.

    The modified theme works good here..you can see it in action: www.santimatti.com

    Massimiliano Mati.

    I've tried to replace the "theme_functions" file but when i do that, the entire theme couldnt display properly.

    1) boxes appeared for uploading images 11-25 but it cannot work ?

    2) theme_functions file cannot work when applied directly into the files.

    Sorry for the late reply guys !

    Here are the modified bits, you will need to replace the existing ones (maybe make a backup copy).

    I made some other modifications (added a second Flickr account option and such) that probably won't work as they need other modified theme files..so if you see anything strange just tell me.

    Hope I don't  break any rules, but I've succesfully modified portfolio files to allow up to 25 images, if its ok for the owner, I can post here the files, let me know !

    Yes, but you would have to edit the theme’s code. I would imagine this would take a developer under a half an hour or so to complete.

    Hint: the files that need to be modified are called portfolio-metaboxes.php, theme-functions.php, and upload-button.js.

    By the way, if you are not a developer yourself, but absolutely need to have the mentioned feature available in your copy of the theme, then my best suggestion for you is to turn to Werkpress, the WordPress customization shop, http://werkpress.com/, so they can customize the theme for you.

    Is there any way to upload more than 10 images to one portfolio page? I need more space!
