“Yin & Yang Categories”

  • Molly Lusk
Currently the categories aren't working at the top of the page (alumni, athletics...) You can hover over them but you're not able to click then sort out just that category. Not sure what the issue is, last time I checked they were working and I haven't made any edits to the html etc. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi Molly,

please try downloading the new version of the theme on your downloads page on ThemeForest, and replacing the old theme folder on your server, with the new one. That should solve the issue you are having.

By the way, if you've modified the theme's code in any way, make sure you save the changes somewhere, so you can reapply them to the new files.

Oh, and thanks for buying the theme! Appreciate it.

    Sincerely,

    Hi Alex,

in that case, try to update only the enqueues.php file. That should work for you.

Hi, I'm having the same problem--when you click on the category name to filter it, nothing happens. I haven't changed anything in awhile.

I've made some changes to the code, so I don't want to overwrite the whole theme. I just went to themeforest and downloaded what I hope is the newest version, and replaced the 'enqueues.php' file.

However, instead of fixing the category filter, it disabled all the slideshows on the homepage and portfolio pages.

Is there something else I should be doing to get the category filter to work?

    Thanks so much!
    Jennie

@Mike If you haven't made changes to any of the theme's code, then you can go ahead and update the files, without any worries.

I am having the same problem with Categories and have downloaded the new theme but am nervous to install it.

I have added a few plug-ins to my site, but haven't changed the coding at all.

Will re-installing the theme mess anything up? Could you tell me which parts of the theme to re-install?

    Thank you!

@Rebbie Hi! If you haven't changed any code, then you're better off with installing a new version of the theme, instead of updating a few parts. Oh, and no worries, you won't lose any content by doing so.
